Awesome Shallow Water Togging in Rhode Island!

The tog are up in the shallows in Rhode Island, which will make the RI Tog Classic more interesting, especially with a pretty tough marine forecast for Sunday. Albie action has been very good from the Vineyard to the Canal and from eastern Rhode Island to central Long Island Sound—good numbers of fish and no shortage of bait either. Striper action has been especially hot in the Canal and up along the Massachusetts South Shore. And when the boats are able to get out, the bluefin bite is waiting for them; east of the Cape and south of Block Island. In spite of the parade of storms, the fall run fishing remains solid.
