Everyone is fired up for albies but the bite seems to be constantly on the move! Late breaking reports set the bite along the Narragansett shoreline with a new crop of fish landing on the Vineyard yesterday afternoon. These, along with the fish that have pushed into Long Island Sound, gives a best bet for all three southern New England states. Stripers are biting well in many locations, but Block Island has been putting up the biggest fish and best numbers too. Togging is heating up quick in Rhody. Bonito and some impressive Spanish macks are sifting in everywhere… it’s peak fall run, don’t sleep it off!
