Cornell Cooperative Extension of Suffolk County (CCE) Marine Program is celebrating their 35th year of giving “Back to the Bays” by protecting water quality, restoring habitat, enhancing shellfish and fin fish populations, and educating the public on the importance of our marine environment! Through the “Back to the Bays Initiative” CCE Marine Program works with various businesses and community partners to foster stewardship, raise funds, and engage the public in our many efforts.
As a way to raise funds in support of the non-profit organization in these challenging times, they have been conducting a series of raffles; the next one is appealing to the recreational fishing community and features a fall run raffle containing essentials for the fall run. Some of the products featured include a Van Stall, custom plugs made by Poombah Plugs, as well as a variety of other products generously donated from Bluewater Ventures, Miller Place Bait and Tackle, and Wego Fishing Bait and Tackle. These products include a Penn Battle III combo, Super Strike Plugs, Epoxy Jigs and more. Don’t miss out!
