Designed for a wide range of fresh and saltwater applications, Cortland Master Braid™ incorporates Opti-Con™ technology to join the optimum number of bundles of individual gel-spun fibers into a tighter braid structure, providing optimum strength and handling. As a result, it does not require a break-in period and performs consistently right out of the box. Master Braid comes off the spool smoothly with no twisting, and the tight weave provides excellent sensitivity and hook-setting power.
FiberTech™ treatment provides the perfect amount of body and injects line character into the super-strong, high molecular-weight, polyethylene fibers. This results in a better casting and easier to handle braid. FiberTech™ also provides excellent abrasion resistance, a major consideration for any angler who fishes around structure.
While most braids fade over time, Master Braid employs ColorLast™ technology to create a braid that does not bleed and resists fading longer since the color molecularly adheres to the fibers and penetrates the structure of the braid.
New for 2019 is an 8-pound test for freshwater and light tackle applications. Also added to the lineup is a new improved Moss Green color. Master Braid is available in 150, 300, 600, 1,200, 2,500 & 5,000 yard spools in 6, 8, 10, 12, 16, 20, 25, 30, 40, 50, 60, 80, 100 and 200 pound test. MSRP ranges from $17.95 – $59.95 for 150 to 300 yard spools. Available colors are bronze, blue, yellow, moss green, black, and white.
