Island Yacht at Captain Bill’s Marina in Bay Shore will welcome boaters and families for its annual Yard Party & Demo Day on Saturday, August 22, offering a full day of on-the-water demonstrations, entertainment and family-friendly activities.
The event begins with Demo Day from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m., where attendees can get out on the water and experience a variety of boats through guided sea trials. Whether you’re in the market for a new boat or simply interested in seeing the latest models, Demo Day provides a hands-on opportunity to compare different options with Island Yacht’s knowledgeable staff on hand to answer questions.
The fun continues with the Yard Party from 4 to 8 p.m., featuring live music, food and drinks, giveaways, raffles and the opportunity to meet the Island Yacht team along with industry representatives. Organizers say the event is designed to bring together the local boating community while showcasing the marina’s facilities and inventory in a relaxed, waterfront setting.
