If you’re looking to gear up for late spring and early summer action you have two fishing flea markets to choose from in Ocean County this Saturday, in Brick and Seaside, as both the Jersey Coast Shark Anglers (JCSA) and Berkeley Striper Club (BSC) are hosting weekend events.
In Brick at their club headquarters at 385 Herbertsville Road, the JSCA host their Fishermen’s Flea Market & Household Treasures from 9 a.m. until 3 p.m. featuring fishing gear, boat items, tackle, tools and household Items. “It’s that time of the year and we are cleaning out our closets and garages,” noted JCSA’s Rick Carroll who said there will be items displayed inside and outside of the hall.

For surfcasters in particular, the 27th Annual BSC Fisherman’s Flea Market is always a “can’t miss” event. An outdoor event presented from 9 a.m. until 2 p.m. at Marina Park on J Street along the bay at Seaside Park Marina, admission is $5.
