Mark Kanterman headed up to a Lake Ontario tributary and fly fished for this kype-jawed brown trout. In early December the Captain Dave III ran a series of blackfish trips out of Sheepshead Bay in Brooklyn to fish local ocean pieces for a steady pick at the ‘white chins.’It was jumbo after jumbo sea bass for those who fished on the Super Hawk out of Point Lookout on one of their offshore wreck fishing special trips before the close of the 2022 season.
