The sheepshead ate a live green crab presented on a white 1-ounce Charlie Taylor Blackfish Jig and marked Lawrence’s 15th sheepshead caught from Jamaica Bay.James Virgona and crew found plenty of offshore action during a trip to the canyon, going 5-for-8 on bigeye tuna after getting on a nice wolfpack. They also put together a solid catch of yellowfin and reported tons of squid in the area.Michael Monty landed this 25-inch fluke while fishing near the meeting of Swift Creek and Jones Inlet around green buoy No. 5. The fish was caught on the outgoing tide using a white 5-inch bait.
