May 2026 has marked a banner beginning to the saltwater season in New England, the stripers came early and large, togging roared to stat off the month, flounder fishing was red hot in Cape Cod Bay and the porgy action off Connecticut caught fire in a hurry! With a May like this it’s hard to imagine that the month of June would be anything short of amazing.
