After less than a week of open season on trout in Rhode Island and Connecticut, the results are in and the overwhelming consensus is that the bite has been hot and there are lots of big fish to be had. Striper action continues to heat up and some late-breaking news came in after this video was already edited, fresh-run fish have arrived in Narragansett Bay and so begins the wild marathon that is the New England striped bass season! Togging has been very-much dependent on the heat of the sun. And we’re in pinnacle prespawn season for largemouth bass… it’s all happening, get out there and catch something!
