Striper action continues to blossom and spread out across southern New England; we saw our first keepers sporting sea lice north of the Cape this week, along with exploding numbers in Narragansett Bay and fish nearing the 30-pound mark in western Long Island Sound. The blackfish bite is ramping quickly from Norwalk to Nantucket Sound, CT anglers will have to get on it fast though, because their season closes on April 30. Freshwater fishermen continue to see good results on largemouth bass and trout across the region.
