The largemouth bass bite caught fire this week, across all of southern New England; jerkbaits, wakes and jigs accounted for some impressive fish! We also saw the first tautog and flounder of the year, kicking the early season into high gear, right off the bat. Striper action continues to improve and many herring runs are starting to draw in some over-slot bass. It’s hard to believe it’s already April, and there are no more excuses, you need to get out there and fish!
