Shark Encounters on the Rise!

Several shark encounters were reported across southern New England this week, prompting some anglers to think twice about reaching into the water to land a fish. Tuna action from 5 to 40 miles south of Block Island just keeps getting better. We saw a dramatic increase in keeper fluke catches, especially in Rhode Island and eastern Connecticut. Big bluefish are dominating reports coming from The Race and along the backside beaches of Cape Cod.
