Offshore fishing kicked up another notch this week as the yellowfin and bigeye bite lit up in the Canyons. Bluefin action remains red hot off the Cape, in Rhody it has been a little less consistent. Block Island bassing took a step back for the first time in two months, but the sea bass action at the island is the best in the region. Surfcasters reported an uptick in striper activity, almost across the board.
