The Fisherman Magazine Weekend Video Forecast 2/17/2022 – New England
It was a big week for big largemouth bass taken through the ice, there was a 7-pounder taken in Maine, a 6.6-pounder caught in Connecticut and this 8.6-pound Central Mass Monstah caught by Mike McGorty. But we are entering that transition time when coastal areas are seeing rapid ice loss while interior lakes and ponds remain solid. We expect next week’s forecast to include a mix of open water and hardwater news, for those along the coast, it’s time to dust off the sticks and get back to work!
