It’s Showtime Again in Edison, NJ & Oaks, PA
It’s kickoff day in Edison for the New Jersey Boat Sale & Expo. The Fisherman’s Jim Hutchinson is on the floor of the show with this week’s update, but take note of his intro this week – it’s not 16 days, but just 12 days until back bay striped bass and winter flounder reopen in the Garden State. In a little more than a week, striped bass anglers in New Jersey can put aside the fighting and kicking and scratching and social media debating, as it will finally be legal to target those winter holdover fish on the Raritan, Toms, Mullica, Great Egg and Maurice. Until then, this weekend offers a big return to the winter show season with the New Jersey Boat Sale & Expo in Edison from Thursday through Sunday, and the Philadelphia Fishing Show in Oaks, PA from Friday through Sunday.
