It’s always good to have a Plan B… The blizzard of 2026 will go down as one that we will all remember for years to come. Those that got out ahead of the storm, or in some cases, during the onslaught, we rewarded with some epic bites as the pressure drop kicked local species into freak mode. With the storm now behind us, the massive snow totals left in its wake will become the new challenge for ice fishermen. Unplowed lots will limit access and crossing snowy lakes on foot will feel like chugging through wet cement. In this week’s video we have some solid “Plan B’s” for anyone whose favorite spots have to be ruled out because of the snow. And March is coming on quick!
