Largemouth bass fishing continues to heat up during this unseasonably mild January. The bite has been good along most of the south coast from Cape Cod to western Connecticut. There have also been great trout catches throughout the same swath of land with the Cape ponds and the rivers of Connecticut giving up excellent action. Lastly, holdover striped bass continue to bite well with the Housy leading the way. There are more warm days in the forecast, don’t let this mild spell pass you by without bending a rod!
