The Fisherman Magazine Weekend Video Forecast 1/6/2022 – New England
The fishing news stayed about the same for most fisheries last week with freshwater action dominating the reports. Cod fishing around Block Island is showing signs of improvement as more and bigger fish were caught on the headboats this week. Holdover striper action seems to be back on track in Connecticut after a brief slowdown. Trout catches continue to impress seemingly everyone that tries for them across southern New England. We have some seriously cold weather on the way, hit that open water while you still can!
