It was a cold and windy week, and most anglers did not wet a line. However, ice fishermen are a different breed and many of them braved the frigid temps and whipping winds to put in some much-needed ice time. We saw everything from panfish to pike, from bass to ‘bows… those that stepped onto the hardwater were greeted with good fishing. A modest warmup awaits for the weekend, which should draw throngs of anglers out onto the lakes of interior New England.
