The Fisherman Magazine Weekend Video Forecast 6/10/2021 – New England
In this week’s Web Fishing Forecast, New England Editor, Dave Anderson gives you the rundown on all things fishing around the Northeast. Striped bass have dominated the reports this week as anglers across the region are catching really nice fish. There was a 55-pounder taken in western Long Island Sound by Fisherman’s World owner, Rick Mola, there were fish well into the 40-pound class taken in Narragansett Bay, more 40-pounders from the Canal and fish into the 30-pound class all the way up to the New Hampshire border. If you’re looking for fluke, stick around to the end of the video for some late-breaking news about the fluke bite in Massachusetts and a look at the first true doormat of 2021. Sea-bassing has been as good as it gets in Buzzards Bay and in central Long Island Sound. Porgies are biting, the weakfish are firing up again… it’s June and the fishing is red hot, get out there and catch some fish!
