The herring runs on Cape Cod have shown a strong increase in herring this week which has stripers and largemouths fired up to feed. And a bit of breaking news that we heard after the video was already cut, CT Fish & Wildlife conducted a surprise stocking of 6- to 18-pound lake trout in Coventry Lake, Crystal Lake, Tyler Lake, Squantz Pond and Bigelow Pond this week and we’ve already seen some photos of these big, beautiful fish!
