A stretch of nice weather in November almost always translates to an uptick in fishing activity and reports; this week was no different. Calm seas and temps in the 70’s sent the boats out in droves. Bluefin tuna in the 45- to 55-inch class are showing in numbers east of the Cape and south of the Windmills. Togging has been red hot with double digits coming from all three southern New England states. Striper action continues to hold its own from Plymouth, Massachusetts to the New York border and beyond. There are even albies around Long Island Sound and the Vineyard. November will come to its senses before we know it, so make the most of this gift of mild temperatures and gentle winds.
