Striper fishing has come to an end in Maine and northern Massachusetts, but from the Canal west things are still looking good with great fishing taking place in western Long Island Sound. Blackfishing continues to put out excellent results with many double-digit fish reported again this week. Inland fishing for smallmouth bass and many species of trout has been hot all week. There’s no reason to slow down yet!
