The Fisherman Magazine Weekend Video Forecast 11/24/2021 – New England
We can officially call it ‘late-November’ now, but several fisheries are still in play. Striper fishing across most of the south-facing shorelines, from Buzzards Bay to the New York border, is still hanging on, the further west you go, the better the bassing. Block Island is putting out good numbers of sea bass and cod. Blackfish still haven’t gone too deep, with most anglers finding good action in 30- to 50-feet of water across Rhody and Connecticut. Freshwater fishing throughout the region continues to shine as trout, along with large and smallmouth bass have been biting well for the last few weeks.
