It’s been a long wait for Rhode Islanders, but the albie train has returned and they’re partying with millions of their closest relatives; the bonito! Blitzes are commonplace along the Rhody shoreline, bent rods and screaming drags have been the norm all week long! Large stripers are also on the move from the Saco River in Maine all the way down to the Race in Long Island Sound… and beyond. Togging is heating up, fluke action has seen a boost, and the fall run has clearly gotten a much-needed shot in the arm, thanks to all the recent fall-like weather. This weekend has major fishing potential!
