The news you’ve all been waiting for has finally landed. With the Cape run of false albacore lagging way behind what we typically expect, a rush of albies landed Wednesday morning at a well-known central Rhode Island breakwall and the mayhem has begun! We are also still seeing wild blitz action with striped bass and some bluefish in Boston Harbor. Rec tuna action is still best south of Block. Bonito are widespread and trending larger this year. And Long Island Sound has some gator blues in its western half. This looks like a Labor Day Weekend for the ages, make it count!
