New Jersey’s Marine FIsheries Council is slated to meet on Thursday, February 13, 2020 in Manahawkin where recreational striped bass measures for 2020 should ultimately be finalized.

Summer founder, sea bass and scup are on the docket for upcoming public hearings focused on allocation percentages between the recreational and commercial sectors.

Following the ASMFC meetings in early February, New England states have scheduled public hearings to gather input on 2020 regulation changes for striped bass, bluefish and other key species.

In past years, you had to pay a separate fee to attend the workshops. This year, the workshops are included in the $20 price of admission.
