2025 Holiday Gift Guide: 70+ Ideas From The Fisherman - The Fisherman

2025 Holiday Gift Guide: 70+ Ideas From The Fisherman

The Fisherman staff offers a glimpse at our wish list this holiday season.

As hard as it may be to believe, the holiday season is upon us, with Hanukkah running from December 14 through December 22, followed by Christmas Day on December 25.

We’re a somewhat diverse group here at The Fisherman, with many of celebrating both holidays while also sneaking in as many fishing trips as possible before the real holiday crunch arrives.  And in terms of where we fish, how we fish, and how long we’ve fished (read: some of us are old), there’s also a lot diversity in our personal “wish lists” for the holidays too!

Earlier this fall, New England edition editor Dave Anderson, Long Island’s Matt Broderick, New Jersey’s Jim Hutchinson Jr., and media coordinator Jenni Ackerman, all sat down together with owner/publisher Mike Caruso to compare holiday notes, and we uncovered quite the assortment of fishing-related gifts for the season of giving.  From stocking stuffers to those gifts that need a little bit more wrapping paper, the final group “wish list” that our team assembled this season is pretty thorough in terms of the hottest gear from trusted manufacturers that you’ll find this season at your favorite tackle shops throughout the region.

From hooks and lines, to soft baits and plugs, rod and reel combos, even high-tech gadgetry that’s worth a second look, our family is thrilled to present our annual Holiday Gift Guide for 2025, offering up something from every price point for every family and friend on your shopping list this holiday season.  Dog ear your favorite pages and leave this edition laying out in plain view at home.  Or do what some of us do and circle favorites with a Sharpie, tear out the respective pages and hang ‘em on throughout the house as a casual reminder this holiday season.
