Bergen Bay Docks in West Babylon will honor the late Capt. Al Lorenzetti with a one-time memorial fishing tournament on the Great South Bay this fall. Lorenzetti, a longtime Babylon captain and familiar face within the local fishing community, passed away on May 12.
The Captain Al Lorenzetti Memorial Fishing Tournament is scheduled for Saturday, November 7, with the captains meeting taking place on Friday, November 6. The event will celebrate Lorenzetti’s life, legacy and connection to the Great South Bay while bringing local anglers together in his memory.
