Lemon Herb Baked Striped Bass

2018 10 Lemon Herb Baked Striped Bass

With the fall striped bass run upon us, here’s a recipe that will turn those bass fillets into a dish that you and all of your guests will really appreciate.

INGREDIENTS:
3-4 pounds striped bass fillet
2 tbsp. melted butter
1 lemon
Salt and pepper

TOPPING:
¾ cup Panko bread crumbs
3 cloves garlic minced
2 tbsp. fresh parsley minced
1 tbsp. dill minced
Zest from 1 lemon
2 tbsp. parmesan cheese shredded
3 tbsp. melted butter

COOKING INSTRUCTIONS:
Preheat oven to 400 degrees. Combine all ingredients in small bowl. Line a pan with foil and spray with cooking spray (olive oil preferred). Place fillet on pan and brush with melted butter. Season with salt and pepper, and squeeze ½ of lemon over top. Sprinkle crumb mixture over top. Bake uncovered 13 to 17 minutes or until fish flakes easily with a fork.
