Lowrance Elite TI Series

2018 10 Lowrance Elite Ti Series

The Lowrance Elite Ti family of touchscreen combo fishfinders and chartplotters is one of their most popular and affordable product lines, and for good reason. They will give coastal anglers from kayakers, to the inshore crowd, to the bluewater brethren the ability to up their game with an extremely user-friendly and uber functional all-in-one machine, highlighted by touch-screen simplicity.

The Lowrance Elite Ti series of combo machines has definitely got game. With an easy-to-use touchscreen interface, Bluetooth and wireless connectivity, proven Lowrance navigation technology and high-performance sonar, which includes medium and high CHIRP sonar, StructureScan HD and DownScan Imaging, the Elite Ti Series does it all at an affordable price. The Lowrance Elite Ti is designed for anglers who want a complete view of the area beneath their boat. CHIRP Sonar offers improved fish-target separation and screen clarity, while the StructureScan HD sonar imaging system with exclusive Lowrance DownScan Imaging delivers photo-like images of fish-holding structure on both sides and directly beneath the boat. What’s totally cool is that you can have all three echo images up on your screen at the same time, as well as a navigation window pane. Of course this wealth of information is probably a lot easier to actually visualize on the brilliant sunlight-viewable color screen when getting into the larger 9-inch and 12-inch models, but the capability is there on all four versions of the Elite Ti, depending on your choice of transducers.

The FishReveal function makes fish easy to see. By combining traditional CHIRP sonar fish arches with superior, high-resolution DownScan Imaging you get the view you need to fish with precision, like bottom detail, structure and baitfish. Even better, FishReveal removes the need to display CHIRP sonar and DownScan Imaging in a two-panel split-image display, putting it all on one screen.

Elite Ti fishfinder/chartplotter models feature a highly accurate, built-in GPS antenna that displays your current position on a detailed U.S. basemap, with more than 3,000 lakes and rivers and detailed coastal contours to 1,000 feet. With parent company Navico’s recent acquisition of C-Map, the standard cartography for the Elite Ti family of chartplotter/fishfinders is C-Map Insight Pro. Finding areas to fish is now easier with the preloaded C-MAP charts in Elite Ti. You can save time by narrowing your search for water features like ledges, points or drop-offs with a bird’s eye view of one-foot contours on more than 3,000 lakes and standard 10-foot contours on more than 11,000 lakes. Elite Ti also includes preloaded, high-detail coastal mapping and the new C-MAP Navigation Palette.

Built-in Bluetooth and wireless connectivity provide a world of flexibility, allowing anglers to view and control the fishfinder/chartplotter display from iPad and Android tablets and smart phones. The user-friendly, SolarMax backlit LED touchscreen displays on the Elite Ti series provide fast, fingertip access to all navigation and fishfinding functions. For example, with the Lowrance fish and structure-marking TrackBack feature, anglers can review recorded history such as structure, transitions or fish targets, mark a waypoint on the sonar display and then easily navigate back to that location using the chartplotter view.

If you don’t like multiple transducer installs and all that comes with it, you are going love the TotalScan transducer. With TotalScan, you not only will drill fewer holes in your boat, but you will get the capability to target fish and search fish-holding structure from a single transducer install with powerful and proven Lowrance Med/High CHIRP and StructureScan HD, with SideScan and DownScan Imaging. Don’t need all of these goodies? No problem, just opt for the Lowrance Med-High Skimmer transducer, which delivers powerful fish-targeting capability with proven Med-High CHIRP performance. Combining their most popular down-looking sonar technologies, the Lowrance HDI transducer uses Med/High CHIRP and DownScan Imaging to deliver fish-targeting views of traditional sonar, plus picture-like, images of structure and cover beneath your boat. Yet another T/D option is the Lowrance LSS-HD. The StructureScan HD transducer helps anglers target the areas where fish like to hide, providing picture-like images of fish-holding structure and cover beneath and to the sides of the boat via Lowrance SideScan and DownScan Imaging. I have been running a TotalScan transducer on my sister-company Simrad GO-12 product and once it is installed properly on the transom, it is as good as advertised.

All Lowrance Elite Ti units are backed by a one-year warranty, with a five-year upgrade program. If your product fails within the first five years of the purchase date, you can also take the option to upgrade to current-model technology at a discounted price.
