The New York State Outdoorsmen Hall of Fame has officially opened nominations for its 2026 induction class and annual special awards. Nominations are due by January 31, 2026, and must include the updated nomination cover form along with all required documentation and letters of support. Categories include Outdoor Volunteer, Outdoor Professional/Volunteer, and Pioneer, honoring individuals who have made lasting contributions to New York’s outdoor traditions through service, advocacy, education, or historical impact. Special awards such as the Educational Program Award, Media Award, Outdoors-Person of the Year, Dave Pierce Memorial Award, and Extra Mile Award will also be presented.
