COMMENT ON NY’S FORGE POND ACCESS

The NY State Department of Environmental Conservation (DEC) is planning to reconstruct and expand the existing DEC fishing access and boat ramp site at Forge Pond in Riverhead. You have until Thursday, April 4, to comment on the project.

HERRING BAN EXTENDED IN CT

DEEP announced that the prohibition on the taking of alewives and blueback herring from most inland and marine waters in Connecticut has been extended through March 31, 2014.
