Improved Cod Fishing
As we progress into April, the fishing opportunities have improved for anglers looking to get out. Stripers are biting in the western portion of the island and around the city for boat and surf anglers. A few reports came in from the South Shore wrecks of the island with better cod fishing, and trout have been cooperating at all the lakes stocked by the DEC. The contributors are also starting to hear more, and one of them weighs in with their top 3 lures.
