Coastal storms, sub-freezing temperatures and ice have all conspired to keep a handful of open boats spending most of the last couple of weeks tied to the dock. Despite the difficult conditions, a few will be attempting to get offshore this weekend for those intent on bending a rod and putting some fresh fish on the table.
