Encouraging Freshwater and Perch Reports
Events and Boats Sailing
This week’s report marks the first of 2023. Warmer weather has melted the ice off the lakes, which usually leads to increased fishing activity. Tidal creeks are also starting to come alive with white perch and schoolie stripers, while solid reports continue to come from Connetquot State Park. A number of party boats are continuing to fish in the new year, but they’re selective on the sailing days, so stay on top of their calendars if you’re looking to get out. We also check out some lures that are bound to work in Florida on the report and the contributors check in with their local knowledge.
