A mix of salt and freshwater reports came in this week from around the island. On the salt side, some cod were caught from the deep with potential form more trips coming up this week if the weather allows for it. Confirmed backwater stripers reports also came through last week from both South Shore creeks and North Shore harbors. Big trout and pickerel also have been showing themselves, and more trout will be on the way in the near future, with stocking season just ahead of us! Join us at the Edison Saltwater Fishing Show this weekend, too.
