We’ve had a string of mild days, coming off the cold snap a couple of weeks ago, and it seemed to have triggered some striper movement in the Western Sound’s bays on both the north and south sides. Successful wreck trips took place over the past week, with a good showing of cod and pollock in the mix. More of these trips are in the works, so keep an eye on upcoming sailing schedules to get aboard one. Trout were active in the lakes again, and white perch continued to be picked away at in tidal creeks.
