With record-breaking temperatures in November, fishing in our area has become quite enjoyable. Add good fishing on top of that, and you can’t beat it! Striper fishing has still been off the hook along the central to western South Shore with fish of all sizes. Montauk is still seeing a good population of bass in the rips. Togging out of both Montauk and Orient has been very productive, with fish up to 11 pounds reported in the past week. North Shore blackfishing has remained active in fairly shallow waters from its western reaches to the North Fork. Rumor of a few albies showing up along some of the Sound beaches and eastern South Shore inlets also found their way into the reports.
