South Shore Classic This Weekend & Another Wave of Stripers Hit Montauk

Another fresh wave of stripers entered the East End of the island with reports of blitzing on both sides of the point. The solid surf fishing continued from the Montauk sand all the way back west to Breezy. Togging continued island wide with quality catches to over 10 pounds coming in from both sides during the week. The large striper bite held up off the West End of the island as well with fish close to 50 pounds being caught. Keep in mind this weekend is the annual Fred Golofaro Memorial South Shore Classic will be taking place this weekend from Friday through Sunday.
