The nor’easter has passed, and anglers across Long Island are getting back on the water as the fall run begins to take shape. This week, we take a look at the latest beach access updates following the storm, including several closures and reopenings from the western South Shore to Montauk. On the fishing front, better striped bass are beginning to show along the eastern beaches, while the back bays are producing fish as water conditions improve.
