Fluking is finally starting to come to life in New England waters with more reports from Block and the first signs of doormats on the Nantucket Shoals. The epicenter of striped bass activity seems to be the waters off of Newport, RI where many large fish have been caught and released from boats and kayaks. And sea bass activity is perking up from Buzzards Bay west into Rhode Island, with another flurry of activity around the central Long Island Sound reefs.
