The lead image of the week says it all as the 10-fish bag limit on spring sea bass ends at the Jersey Shore on Sunday, June 21. A one-fish limit – essentially a bycatch limit – goes into effect in New Jersey on Monday, with the 10-fish bag limit returning on September 23. Summer arrives in the Northern Hemisphere as well on Sunday, and some of our seasonal visitors and summer oddities have already arrived, including spot, croaker, kingfish and even a striped burrfish.
