We lead off this week’s video fishing forecast for the New Jersey, Delaware Bay region on the hunt for jumbo stripers along the North Jersey Coast this week in advance of Friday’s Manhattan Cup out of Liberty Landing Marina. A look at your regional inshore marine forecast and the offshore forecast where the first yellowfin of New Jersey’s offshore season are being reported from some of the southern canyons, while bluefin management needs some explanation (we try, but the simple fact is there are too many bluefin and not enough angling quota!) Take the run from Cape May to Sandy Hook for a look at Jersey Shore surf action, and keep in mind the inshore black sea bass action has been great of late and will continue through June 19. Jenni is on the fly this week, George finds a little Pocono Mountain sunshine in our freshwater report, we look at this weekend events including Saturday’s “free fishing day” in New Jersey, and a quick breakdown of a congressional hearing on seafood in Washington this week as the “Empire” strikes back with their “Death Star” arriving just east of Long Branch.
