We lead off this week’s full video with a clip of sand eels washing up along the Southern Ocean County beaches, an interesting sign as we head into the weekend of November 8-9. In fact, video taken exactly 1-year ago and also shared in this week’s forecast indicates we’re on schedule with a few of the epic Northern Monmouth County blitzes of ’24, and this week a mixed batch of bunker finally in tight in ’25 along with marauding schools of chubb mackerel piling on acres of rain baits! Yes, we do have striper reports in South Jersey too, including one sizable Atlantic County fish and reports of good action with outback Cape May County bass too, but as the migration runs from north to south – as well as east to west – the more sizable catches of late within and Natty Geo scenery points north at the Jersey Shore. Plus, news on black sea bass boats running in November, the tautog bite a week before the bag limit increase, and our weekly freshwater update from the Poconos.
