Reporting from the recently replenished beaches of Bay Head (“yeah, a lot of good that did”) after the big nor’easter, eyeing up post-storm conditions and pre-storm blitzes to our north at Sandy Hook, with an early slot return after the blow in Cape May. As of Thursday morning, the National Weather Service has moved their west wind forecast back to Sunday, but they’re still calling for light winds and seas for Saturday. We called around for black sea bass intel this week out of Cape May and Shark River, while also taking a quick at the offshore forecast for those looking to get back to the yellowfin grounds.
