Reporting from the recently replenished beaches of Bay Head (“yeah, a lot of good that did”) after the big nor’easter, eyeing up post-storm conditions and pre-storm blitzes to our north at Sandy Hook, with an early slot return after the blow in Cape May. As of Thursday morning, the National Weather Service has moved their west wind forecast back to Sunday, but they’re still calling for light winds and seas for Saturday. George has your weekly freshwater rundown from the Pocono Mountains, and Jenni talks with one Jersey Shore shopkeeper about the 12% reduction proposal by the ASMFC. Hutch looks more closely at a couple of interesting figures public hearing documents on spawning stock biomass; that said, just after recording this week’s video we caught more foul wind of the latest young-of-the-year news from Maryland with another year of below average production! We’ll dig into that developing story in next week’s full video, but for this week at the Jersey Shore the striper glass is half-full!
