It all comes down to this as we will finally learn whether or not a 12% reduction in striped bass mortality will be implemented through measures that may include partial seasonal closures in 2026. The Atlantic States Marine Fisheries Commission’s (ASMFC) 83rd Annual Meeting will be held October 27–30, 2025, at Hyatt Place Dewey Beach, Delaware. This hybrid meeting offers both in-person and remote participation for Commissioners and interested stakeholders.
The preliminary agenda and public comment guidelines are posted on the ASMFC 2025 Annual Meeting webpage. The main webinar link will cover all board meetings, the ACCSP Coordinating Council, the Executive Committee, and the Commission’s Business Session. Separate links for the Law Enforcement Committee, the Habitat Committee, and the Atlantic Coastal Fish Habitat Partnership Steering Committee will be provided in those meeting agendas.
