Fly Fishing Connetquot with Contributors – Pickerel and Trout Providing Action

This week we bring you an exclusive look at fly fishing introduction with Paul from River Bay Outfitters at Connetquot along with another regular contributor, Mike Dean. Trout have also been active at many of the lakes throughout the island and pickerel have been making a good showing for freshwater anglers too. If you missed us at the Freeport Boating and Fishing show, we’ll have a booth again at the Ward Melville High School Saltwater Fishing Expo and Fundraiser on March 4th. Also keep in mind this upcoming Monday is the DEC meeting in person and through an online portal to receive public comment on potential sea bass regulations for the upcoming season.
