23.15 Pound Tog Caught and Released – More Knot Tying
The big news to start off the year is no other than the 23.15-pound tog caught commercially by rod and reel. The massive fish would have been a new pending state record, but it was caught outside of the recreational season so unfortunately, the catch cannot count towards a state record. The angler, Cliff, released the fish after a quick weigh-in. More to come on the story of the catch. Also, our winter knot tying series continues with the dropper loop and our contributors give us their winter reports to help you find some coldwater fish.
